Yep, that's his red 3D that's been all over craigslist for the past year. Not surprising that dirk enjoys a toy that goes all 3 ways.

Potter lake, just south of mukwonago is actually nice, clean, and not overly crowded, even though it's pretty small - maybe 200-250 acres I'd estimate. Go south on 83, cross I-43, go right/west on hwy L, and the free public launch is about 5 miles down on the right side. When the river has been too high, or too low (when the dam was almost washed away), I've ridden there.

Wind Lake has a free launch, but sometimes has an aggressive cop and is now loaded with that milfoil weed crap.

You can also launch on the fox at the park in big bend, at the corner of 164 and L. I used to ride that stretch a lot. You can easily go about 15 miles in either direction. Bring a buddy and a tow rope.

Live in Waukesha, don't ride the lakes there much. Tichigan usually and bender now and then they are more fun. Otherwise I ride up north at my parents place

I live in Hartland now, and hoping to get a ski again this year. Just looking for something cheap like a 650sx to play around on. I ride Lake Beulah as my grand parents had a place on it, big lake never had an issue with DNR or Police.

What does the DNR give you issues for?

DNR depends on the lake. Some of the waukesha lakes now have that ridiculous "repititous course" law, and they'll watch for that. Generally, they're just looking to ticket for riding too close or making wake too close to shore.

You think they might consider getting inverted off of a boat wake reckless behaviour?
