Need input on touring skis...I made a chart to compare the best ones

Comparing these models with the NA engines to see which is best for touring rides. If you have any info or input on any of these please share. Anyone have any of these and can speak to their range, mpg, reliability, or performance in rough water? Open for input and any data tweaks...mpg/range is not a published spec.

They are separated into flat and rough water machines since there's an obvious difference in size and price there. The numbers columns are "conditionally formatted" by color scales to give a better visual. Green=Good, Red=bad.

This was done in Excel...for each column of each hull type (4 vertical boxes), a color shading of good to bad is done automatically by Excel purely based on the numbers in each cell. For example, in the case of fuel tank size among the 1st 4...largest is green, smallest is red, others shaded depending on how close to each end of the spectrum. It's purely data driven by the numbers in the cell...no opinions here, except for the octane and reverse columns. Those were manually done.

I have had a SeaDoo Wake edition, a Kawasaki Ultra 250 and now have the Yamaha FX SHO Cruiser. I also have a 2000 Yamaha GP1200. I like the ride of the Yamaha the best by far. It is the driest and smoothest ride of any I have been on. The lower back support on the FX is really nice on long trips, and it has a cup holder!

I have a 14 FX HO (not a cruiser). The HP on both is 180.

I do not have much experience with a variety of machines, but I can tell you that the FX hull does very well in chop and rough water. With 30 hours total, I am still continuously surprised by how well it takes tall water. Ive also been surprised by/ misjudged the height of a few waves and went airborne. The FX hull cut back into the water upon landing (watering?) very smoothly, not the slapping Ive experienced with flatter hulled skis (aka spine compression).
