Re: Newbie with question on vibration

I am going to take my ski to the dealer next week. I'm waiting because I think it would be a good time to replace these as well.

    Am I correct?

Yes buy the aluminum ones and have the dealer install them [if the dealer knows how]. Few of the Honda dealers are proficient on Aquatrax.

Re: Newbie with question on vibration

Ok, I bought them and will drop my ski off at the dealer on Monday. They have quite a few Hondas in there all the time so I feel pretty confident they know how to do it and will do a good job.

BTW- I used to live in Jacksonville....was there for 11+ years......loved it there.

    Thanks for the reply

I used to live near Pensacola, dare I say it, Milton. Anyway, Pensacola Motor Sports has a guy in the service dept that's pretty sharp with Honda's.

That's funny because I physically live in Pace, but nobody ever knows where that is, so I just say Pensacola....lol

That is funny, to us anyway. So were you in Black Water River when your problem started. Lots of little sticks.

Re: Newbie with question on vibration

Well, I got a call from the Honda Dealer and they found nothing wrong. They said they checked it out thoroughly and it was running 60-61mph where they tested it. I'm picking it up in a few hours, so I'll try it later today to see. I'm glad it was nothing, but it seems odd. All I can think it, maybe a stick or something got sucked up and then fell out or was flushed out.

Nice, that was a cheap fix. Who was the dealer?
