If only you could pre-order a custom factory build, good for the OEms, they have a buyer that made a deposit, and great for the buyer skis done already!

Glad to see Yamaha is keeping the stand-up ski going.
So what's the deal with the "competition use only" disclaimer. Does that mean anything to the average buyer?...or is this just what they have to say to get around the EPA bullsthitake?

The "competition use only" is exactly what you stated. By Yamaha using the disclaimer, they can continue to sell their 2 stroke model. The ski's also have a sticker on them that state "not for recreational use" as well. It does not meaning anything to the average buyer. You can still register them and ride them, except for Lake Powell, Lake Mead and Lake Mohave which are within the National Parks.
