Marina Del Rey Ride July 6, 2013

    The plan:
    * This is planned to be a fun ride enjoying the beautiful ocean and coastline we are blessed with. We are staying a minimum of 1/4 mile offshore, as is required by the city of Malibu. If you are worried about running out of gas with a Super Charged PWC, it is suggested you don't go WOT! I have done this many times on my 2012 Seadoo RXP-X take it easy just in case we go farther than Malibu.

**Bring $10 cash for launch fee!**

    13477 Fiji Way
    Marina del Rey, CA 90292

    310 305-9546
    http://www.marinadelrey.com

    * Following the coast hugging ride plan above here are the miles calculated old-school, off of a paper map from MDR breakwater:
    - To Malibu Pier 14.5 total miles (29 miles round trip).
    - To the Paradise Cove Pier 21 total miles (42 miles round trip).
    - To Point Dume 23 total miles (46 miles round trip).
    - To Zuma Beach, 25 total miles (50 miles round trip)

    * Look at the above mileage and plan for how far you want to go, knowing the fuel capacity of your PWCs. Or bring extra gas!
    * Skis in the water 8:30 AM
    * Leave at 9:00 AM, head to Malibu
    * Forecast High of 72 degrees F, partly cloudy at launch, Wind: WSW at 8 mph,
    * Head back to Marina Del Rey to fuel up if lunch is in Redondo Beach
    * Lunch = TBD.

    During the ride general items:

    * All riders must meet before hand to discuss the ride plan and to take a club photo.

    * Periodic stops planned for Santa Monica Pier, Topanga, Malibu Pier. At this point we will decide for a go, no-go for further points.

    * We always watch out for each other which means we look behind us occasionally. No one is ever left behind.

    * People who do want to go WOT or those in race training, you can form a separate group

    * People with Marine Radios, we will establish a channel and test before we hit the water
