I need to see if my chinese 1000watt generator will run my 1hp pancake air compressor - that is, of course, if you guys actually want 22-27 inch buoys this year ...

Do they take lots of pressure to inflate? My airmatress pump puts out lots of volume.

I haven't bought them yet. They're generic hippity hops.

Are YOU volunteering to pump up, say 13 buoys, by hand ?

I still have the world finals vintage bouys that ill be bringing. A air compressor would be perfect!!

Paul...you could also just bring the compressor and plug it in at the office. Jo-ann will transport.

Re: Getting Ready for the 2013 Sortie!!

My test confirmed that my generator will run my compressor.

Nick, any chance you could get the campground to let at least some of us to keep our trailers near our tents? You could sell them on the fact that this would mean we'd spend MUCH less time with our vehicles inside the campground. I'd love to be able to just disconnect my trailer, then quickly empty my SUV, and get back out to the parking area. Then I could casually set up my beach totes, beach stands, and unload my skis.

I am going to field this one and say no, you can pretty much word it however you want but the rules are the rules, no cars, no trucks, no SUVS, no wagons (covered with a tarp to look like a tent or not), no crossovers, no vans, no sportscars, no musclecars, no donks, no ratrods, no dragsters, no motorcycles, no planes, no helicopters, no campers, no mobile homes, no sub-terrainian drilling machines, no front end loaders, no tanks, no trailers (with possibly the exception of one hitched to the dedicated tow in/out ATV).
You WI guys are crazy high maintenance.

Well actually last year they were trying to keep the parking lot open for a wedding, and told many of us to put our trailers in a section back by the campsite. And the year before, I think I kept my trailer next to me tent. The SUV was out in the lot however.
