Ok, the first pic is straight on with the direction of the bunks:

The next is at an angle so you can see the u-bolts and how they work with the brackets I had made (I'm no welder)

The last pic shows the back side or inside of these brackets.......they are just angle iron mounted atop a piece of flat bar. Not squared, tho. You have to allow angle since the bunk is angled

    Hope this helps

As far as tying off, it's just like I tie off in on my other trailers (explained in an above post)

Your trailer is awesome! I have the same on but I think my fx140 would hang off the back to much. Could you please post a pic of how far back the sit-do is?

This ultra LX is about as big as they come. It DOES as you state, tho, hang off the rear.

Most of my towing is within 5 miles, but if your trailer is level, then it's really not an issue. I thought about lengthening the trailer, but after a few months of this and no issues, I'm over it.

No pics right now of the rear of the sit-do, but it is about a foot and a half off the rear of the bunks. You can also see the rear tie down angles and sea the ultra only hangs off a foot and a half or so.

One more thing, if the sit-doo hanging off the end is a real deal breaker, then consider not using the gas can rack area, move the standup forward, then the sit-do forward.

Thanks for all the info. My fx140 is just over 11 1/2 ft so its up therewith your ultra. I don't want to loose the gas can rack so ill have to move back thinking I might strengthen the rear bunk bracket and just let it hang over the rear.

I really don't think you'll need to strengthen the rear, bit I'll never discourage someone from making something better or safer.

Good luck and show us pics when ur done.
