Re: Polaris MSX 150 - IFB

The System Interface Box (SIFB) is a mushroom shaped module that plugs into the wire harness above the battery... below the ECU. If you're having starting/stopping or rev limiting at 3400rpms... this is the likely culprit.

Re: Polaris MSX 150 - IFB

Found it. Thanks. I am working on this ski for a friend. He said he was flying along at 62 mph, made a turn and it bogged down and went into safe mode. He has to limp it back to the dock. I cleaned the MAP sensors even though they looked like new. The ski only has 114 hours on it. Not sure what else to try.

Re: Polaris MSX 150 - IFB

I have a polaris 04 150msx turbo and tried the jumper white /blue to purple and tried to run the ski. come out of hole good but will not get above 4500 rpms and check engine light come on. I'm at wits end. Any help out there? Do you remove the module or leave it out. I left mine out and in but same thing happens.
