Simple power gains can be had by removing stock air box and installing open flame arrestors. You need to rejet the carbs when doing this, otherwise a very lean condition will exist that cant be tuned out. Having the cylinder head cut down to about 42cc installed is the next step. Does require premium fuel, but a big boost on acceleration. If you have a slight repitch on prop done, will yield a gain in max rpm and mph. In ideal conditions, your top speed can reach 65mph. A big boost on hole shot with a little bit more on top speed. Past this point the expense takes a sharp incline for any more power gains.

There may be someone in your neck of the woods, but Watercraft Magic in California can get you hooked up with all the parts and information needed to successfully do the work. You may even choose to send your carbs to them for a professional build. Possibly buy an aftermarket head with removable domes for an easier conversion, instead of getting yours cut.
