    Cool First time in Colorado

Hwy guys. I just got to Colorado springs last week and wow this place is gorgeous! The first thing I did was throw the ski in the shop to get the carb tuned for 6k feet because, well, that's more important than finding a house.
I plan on dumpin it in pueblo in a couple weeks. So, how's the lake? Choppy or smooth? And is there an area I should look for to drop it in? I don't have a trailer up here so it's backin the truck in the lake or carrying it. It's a 550 so I'm not too worried.
    tnx, Chris

Pueblo can be choppy or smooth just like any lake, just depends on traffic and wind. You have to load and unload from the boat ramp due to the zebra muscle inspctions. This sucks if you are by yourself and have no one to park you truck. We drop the skis in at the south marina/ramp then go the the beach just north of the ramp. You can park your truck on the beach but will have to load the ski back at the ramp.

You can also head east to Lake Henry or Lake Meredith which is Ordway, Co. These lake are about 5-10 minutes apart from one another. Lakes are ok; You can launch from the shores. There is a bad odor down there because there's a massive cattle farm between the two lakes. Other than that, it's OK down there.
