Re: How to do an oil change

    Hi Reza,

    Thanks!!
Is this a car oil or motorcycle oil?
The FXHO is a high RPM engine, you want to use racing oil if you can't get Yamalube! RedLine racing oil would be an example. Just make sure it is for high revving engines. I rather change oil often (every 25-30 hours) and just use Yamalube!

I used RedLine Synthetic but went back to Yamalube! I think it's waste of money when one changes oil every 25 hours to use Synthetic...

    Cheers,
    Reza

Re: How to do an oil change

    Thanks for your quick reply.
It is car oil; Mobil 1 Synthetic.
My Yammi is VX Deluxe 2010.

I took the 2200 ml of oil out today for its 10 hour use. (Its my new ski). I have not added any oil back yet.

I have to drive 40 minutes to get to the dealer; that's why I'm asking; I have the mobil 1 in the garage.
    Thank you

I would drive the 40 minutes and buy some extra for next time! I would not use the Mobile 1! Your ski still revs up to 10K!

    Cheers,
    Reza

Re: How to do an oil change

According to the manual, when one takes out 2200 cc of oil out, there is still about 2liters of dirty oil left behind. Is this normal?
You are basically mixing new oil with dirty used oil. Am I missing something?
