    idle speed, how low can you go

    my 07 f12x idles @ about 1200 a bit too fast for me trying to fish off it. how low is safe and where is the adjustment

    Why?? 1200 rpm in or out of water??
    The slower you go more chance odds stalling I think 1200 in the water would be more than slow enough on the water

    Its not slow enough in the water, you blow by the spot you want to cast at.

    Any lower ,and it will get real rough and lumpy. I backed mine down once ,and put it right back.

    Try moving the reverse bucket to where it is natural EG half way
