    F15X peak RPM.

Correct me If I'm wrong ,but a stock 15X turns about 6500 rpm right?
What does it turn with Macs stage 2?

Is there anyone here with a Macs stage 2 on a 15X with 100 or more hours with the kit installed?

With a few mods it will easily turn 7100 but stock it turns about 6350-6500 depending on air and water temps.

I have Mac's stage II with about 100 hour +/-. with the stock impeller I was hitting about 7400 - 7500 I think it was. maybe as much as 7600 at the rev limiter With a much steeper impeller, I am now 7000 - 7100 at 77 mph.

    Thanks everyone.
I was asking cause If I end up with a 15X, Macs stage 2 is a must but will the valve train hold up?
I searched , but never got a clear answer if the valve springs were the same as the 12X skis.

the cam is different, different springs, different spring rates. The springs can float if you push it beyond the stage II. I have an upgrade kit, but you don't need it unless you want a bigger turbo. then you need alot of other stuff too.$$

I have about 45 hours on the ski and all of it sans 30 min with the Mac kit. Just a tad over 7040 is normal for RPM and I assume my pump is in pretty good shape. That is fresh water I ride in by the way.

    Thanks Mac!
With that said I will try ,and find a 15X.
I don't plan on getting it until sometime next spring.

A dealer from Alabama told me Honda didn't have any left in the warehouse so the dealers having any left at the time I purchase will determine If I get one as well as their price. I don't want to pay MSRP for a 4 year old ski!

If they are sold out or wont deal I will have to take my chances with the RXPX.
