Gsx RFI, only riding one cyl and max 2400rpm

Hi all

I have a gsx RFI .
My first run this year whent bad i started the engine and sailed out the habour
but the engine would only fire the front cylinder. And max rpm was 2400.

The 12v alarm startet to so maybe a good idea to change battery.

Tjec list so far:
12bar compression on both cyl
spark on both sparkplugs
tjecked the rear RAV valve but it was very clean!

What could it be?

I'd say to replace the spark plugs and clip the leads as you can have spark outside the engine but not firing under the load of compression. If that fails you could remove the fuel rail and ensure both injectors are spraying

BE CAREFUL OF OPEN SPARK AND GAS, THEY DO NOT MIX!

My friends GTX RFI had a problem it would start and run for about 10 seconds after i put new plugs in it on advice from people on here i went up a heat range to br7es and it ran great after that,he also had the 12v light on it turned out being the regulator rectifier i bought a heavy duty one from seadoosource.com and put a Deka Battery in it and he has had no problems since, also i hear the stators can rust up causing charging problems my friends looked brand new
