What is stock compression on a Stock WaveRaider 1100?

Is a cold compression test at 100psi low? Seems low to me.

    Yep, 100 is low..

110 is about the lowest I would have peace of mind running, and only if they are all equal.

"stock" out of the box new would be around 125.

Ok well it does have 197 hours on it. Does that make a difference?

Is it just one cylinder or all of them? The reason I ask is because its easy to get a bad reading. If all cylinders are even, try another gauge.

I agree that 120 is where you should be, but since all 3 are even, I wouldn't be concerned.

Lower compression = lower power, so yea. It would probably be more noticable on the bottom, if you notice it at all.

Re: What is stock compression on a Stock WaveRaider 1100?

Ok thx, Also with doing a good compression test should all three spark plugs be out and throttle wide open or each spark individually?

Btw what is your guys opinion on my 1100(Stock) vs the XP800(Stock)? Which is faster? Low End? Top Speed? What bolt on parts can I get that would get me better low end? I used to have a XP800 and loved jumping with it. Im assuming with the bigger/heavier hull that I proly wont be jumping any waves with the raider too much or at all??? Sorry I should just start a new thread for this.
