stock 1100 sxr build specs 61+ mph

This info has been supplied by trusted members, racers of PWC today for YOUR benefit.

    1.stock 1100 motor
    2.stock to 82mm pistons
3.increase compression from 130 to 150 with ADA, Kommander, stock 1100 head milled
4.stock 1100 intake manifold( no crossover mod), stock reeds, stuffers, cages, accelerator pump connected
5.stock 1100 carb rack. CDK2 ( non-cv) , choke plates removed, prok adapter air filters, return resstrictor not modified.
    6. 2 pulse lines from cases
    7. fuel feed- one fuel line to front carb, one fule line to rear carb. center carb is fed fuel via "t" in fuel return lines from front and rear carb. Center carb fuel return line goes to gas tank.
    8. Carb jetting- 130m 1 to 1 1/4 out, pilot 78 1 to 1/4 out. stock 1100 N/S, springs
    9. Carb specs provided by Chris03HD
    10. Skidmark ( Kevin) uses stock 900 carbs, manifold, and stock 900 jetting on his 1100 with same results.
    11. timing advance jumper ( diagram below)
    12. optional timing advance plate- R&D ( pic)
    13. stock pump- 16/24 solas 82/85 nozzles 61.5 mph. 16/21 prop and 80/83 noz went 59.8mph @ 7400 rpm
    14. Stock e-box mod ( several pics) Jetskisolutions, TRIP, have nice mods available (pics)
    15. ScottieMac dry pipe- a. plug water inlet in middle of pipe chamber. You must plug inside of pipe and outside. Inside can be drilled and tapped for small allen head bolt. Be sure and epoxy the bolt in place. Plug the top hole with brass plug ( pics)
    b. plug the large fitting close to the exhaust oulet.
    c. drill and tap into the bottom of the pipe, (close to the one that u just plugged) for 1/2 inch fitting for water to go to a pisser.
    d. plug small 1/4 " fitting on front of the headpipe.
    e. drill and tap a hole in the stinger and install a 120 jet (more or less depending on water temp). This stinger will be fed by a "t" in the cold water inlet from the pipe ( 1/2 or 3/8 inch inlet hoses depending on where u live).
    f. The back of the headpipe should have a 3/8 inch fitting to be fed from the center cylinder.
    16. exhaust manifold mods: drill and tap for a 90 degree 1/2" or 3/8" fitting. THE LOCATION OF THIS IS CRITICAL. THE STARTER MOTOR AND EXHAUST PIPE MUST CLEAR. ( check pics). The exhaust manifold fittings are your cold water inlets from your pump. They can be two 3/8" lines or two 1/2" lines.
    17. The water outlet fittings on top of your head should be on the carb side of the motor for better cooling. Their should be a 3/8" fitting for each cylinder,. The front and the rear cylinder go to pissers. The center cylinder feed the back of the headpipe.
    18. 98' STX drive shaft with1/4 inch cut off back of shaft ( spline). STX couplers, ADA couplers (pics)
    19. 1100 motor mounts with front ( towards nose of ski)bolt of motor mount in the stock sxr hole location.
    20. Rear holes will need to be drilled and tapped. Aluminum is under the fiberglass.
    21. Stock 800 bedplate or Twinturbostang has a custom one.
    22. move battery towards rear of ski as far as possible so the carbs/manifold will not touch the battery. TRIP makes a adapter plate for this.
    23. Bolt e-box directly to the firewall ( dash) TRIP makes adapters for this
    24. Bolt on block off plate on flywheel cover from Twinturbostang
    25. You should have 1 inch clearance from you gas tank to motor and ebox to motor.
    26. rideplates-R&D, TBM, Kommander
    27. Intake grates- R&D, Skat trak, TBM
    28. wbox mod- 7 hole. Twinturbostang does this mod
    29. Kommander exhaust routing kit

I do not have a "stock" motor. Chris03HD, Smacc, Skidmark, Properformance were kind enough to provide this info.
Please let me know of performance improvements to this package and we will add.

Re: stock 1100 sxr build specs 61+ mph

thanks. Optima Racing can get u all the parts! Great service. If someone had a stock sxr and sold motor, electrics, etc..... they could build a 61+ mph pump gas ski for under 500$!! Pretty cool.
