Thank you for the positive feedback Mark and thank you for sharing this info. The 1100 revolution is great for the sport, providing a rather simple way to get real performance without breaking the bank. It is also a totally upgradable package, as you said you can step up to a "limited" type setup for not much more money and your knocking on the mid 60's door.

Look for an Optima Racing/ProPerformance/Hurricane collaboration build in the near future with a few new tricks up our sleeve.

So the sxr 800 R&D Timing advance works in these 1100 motors? That would explain why i cant find one for the 1100.

Yes, R&D works fine. You will have to grind a little out of the flywheel cover for fitment, but it's easy.

I've notice Mark noted for the stock carbs (non CV) to leave the accelerator pump connected? I thought you want to disable the pump. Building mine pretty soon.

No, leave it on. Those carbs are designed internally to run with the pump. If you remove it, you will catch he11 trying to jet it in. For some reason, people were all worried that the acc pumps were hard to set up. They aren't, just keep the stock jetting and add flame arrestors and go. Plus, no need for a primer. For a lake play/surf ski, I love my stock carb set up.
