    88' FunJet

Started on my Funjet build recently. For those of you who dont know what they are they were made in the mid-late 80's down near Houson, Texas. Company went out of business in the early 90's. Its 10.5' long and has a 3 cyl yamaha motor that puts out 70hp. Since it is an inboard jet I figured I could get some info and help with parts here.
Starting with the trailer. I stripped the trailer yesterday and plan on getting it into primer and paint this weekend. The starts the body work on the boat. Gonna strip the whole thing and repaint. Should be a fun project and even more fun on the water.

here is how she looks now.

Its so tall, bc the motor is basically an outboard yamaha 70hp jet. So its vertical. I'm thinking about cutting the "hump" out and glassing in a pro mod scoop.

The early ones did. Then they switched to a yamaha. Some later models came with a 90hp yamaha.
