    Wintertime Riding???

Any suggestions on where to ride within a 2 hour drive of Memphis this time of year? My skis are sitting my cousin's barn in the Missouri bootheel, and begging to get wet. (although it's gonna be a cold wet...)

My fear is that the usual lakes have drawn down the water too low to ride, but maybe someone else has a suggestion???

    Thanks!

Most of the lakes are plenty high to ride; Greers Ferry, Lake Norfork, Table Rock, and Lake Hamilton are all still plenty deep to ride.

    Hey thanks for that info!

I was glad to hear that, after reading that Sardis Lake where I normally ride is 20 feet lower now, in anticipation of the spring floods.

My goal is definitely not to run over some stumps or rocks, and wind up like the Costa Concordia!

    Re: Wintertime Riding???

Got any details on this route? Launch point, turn around, anything... I work offshore but live in central AR and next time I'm home I'm thinking about making this run. I didn't get to ride this summer because of work, so now it's time to catch up.
