Got mine today, they look good and strong, gonna see if they will also work on gen 1 and 2 X-2's also. Thanks for fast shipping.

Just from a sales/marketing point i would consider offering them turfed, cuz it would really finish them off nicely. Great product, cant wait to try them out.

thanks for the props and the info. been thinking about doing that all along, but i cant stock all the colors of turf for everyone. i could do just black and gray, but then i feel im limiting them. going to consider maybe doing a few sets turfed in both colors and see.

let meknow when you get them installed and how you like them.

i imagine you could make them work on just about anything. im going to shorten them and see how they fit and older x-2.
i was thinking you could scuff up the back side of them and the spot where you mount them. use some good size screws with fender washers, and epoxy between the foot hold and the hull. the only thing is that they would have to be semi permanent using epoxy and strong enough to hold.

turfed and installed. Pretty straight forward and the template for the turf helped. I would recommend lengthening the template about at inch longer down toward the bottom. that way you don't have to stretch the turf so much on the wrap around and fold over the end.

They feet good on the feet and look great. I don't think they will get in the way at all.

    A+ of an idea

    sweet turf job btw.
i will address the template for the turf.
i dont know if you used a heat gun or not, but it really helped me with the install.
working on modding another set to see if they can be used on a x-2...

I did use a heat gun and could have stretch it to make it work but with the extra padding you provided it would have just barely made it and if the glue wasn't completely dry for an instant stick it would have pulled back. Not complaints its just easier to remove a little extra turf than to add more cleanly. just my opinion. anyone who like to just wave will love these!!

and the OEM hardware worked without any trouble. Just FYI for anyone else
