Works awesome on my kids SN. Super easy install and a very solid product. Should work just as well on the RN.

How does the surf seal keep water out? Cant it still get in through the vents on the hood?

Not if you duct tape the vents shut ...Be sure to use at least 3 layers.

Did you have to do the modification like he said for the sn? And how has it worked out so far?

Re: NEW product: SURF SEAL - Superjet/Blaster hood seal

I seem to go through at least one seal a year on my SuperJet and I have tried about a half dozen different things over the years.

Liked the idea of one that pressed onto the hood and give this one from Amazon a try. Same item is on eBay for $36 for an 8ft piece. This was $30 delivered for a 25' piece so I have the next two seals covered with this one piece. It was really easy to install. I did have to cut two notches where latch is so it could get around a reinforced tab that was perpendicular to the seal and that was easy with cutters. I just put it on the ski and you do have to make sure the hood is seated accurately but feels like it is going to work well. Only time will tell and I'll report back if it does not last long. I ride mine almost every day Spring, Summer and Fall so it will get a good test.
