Well then... Lol yaa I've created about...3 I think so far... I just get carried away with power tools lol my thought process is just "well if I go too far I can just fix it!" lol I'm installing the scrupper tomorrow then fixing a hole in the pump cavity then re foaming.. For a hole about the size of a pistceo in the top of the pump, could I just put some 5200 in there then sand it or should I glass from the tray area then 5200 on the pump side?

Make sure you run 2 1/2 lines, 1 3/8s for water and add a extra 1/2 tube for a trim cable.

theres 3 stock lines but im not sure what diameter... o wow thanks, i would have completly forgot about adding a line for trim... my carbs came in yesterday, finished the motor, waiting on a high comp head. pipe mods done. foam and more resin to finish the X2 and then this is in the mail, should come together pretty quick after the X2 is done. doing that as a senior project that needs to be ready for presentaion in jan so once i finish the glass on that, this will take a little back burner

Ok I know you said you chopped off five inches, my question is did you leave the rear set of rideplate mounts in the hull bottom, if you are counting the rub rail in the five inches you are probably ok, if you have cut past the rear set of rideplate mounts you have gone too far.

if you think you cut to much off you can always use a longer rideplate. Thats if you left the rear ride plate inserts like mentioned above

    Re: 650sx fixted steer!

What I did was a 2.5" cut measured from the back of the hull then angled it upwards to meet what I had already cut off of the rear bond rail. That comes in just behind the rear rideplate inserts.
