Re: Out for this year and all of next

Well, I must say this has been incredibly rough for me not being able to ride. The wife did bring the skis up yesterday and was asking me if I was sure I can't ride them. She is obviously missing them lol. I told her I am still uncomfortable with the idea of doing it as it won't take much to tear the tendons the rest of the way. I did just take a new job that is going to require a little more kneeling. No, I am not man whoring lol. I will actually be repairing flow jets and all sorts of other equipment. Oh and the owner is a big jetski fan and looks like I will be able to play with the machines in our showroom. So expect to see some cool jet ski parts coming out soon. Think I may talk to him about letting me start an aftermarket jetski part business.

Just to let you guys know I still have my skis. I never got paid for the eBay auction.
For the time being I am going to keep them. My knees have healed up quite a bit, but I
Would still say they are only about 40 percent of where they were. I am hoping I might be able couch a little bit next year and maybe cruise some flat water on the stand up. That is a still a big if and my ortho doc would not be real happy. There may be a Dale Hollow trip in the future if things heal up enough that I am comfortable couching.

    Chris,
I totally agree we need to grab some grub and some beers.

10mm keep us posted, it's not a fun talk to have with the doc. Especially when
he tells you that you are too old. Rubbish! I am totally planning to couch it this year and
might a few flat water runs on the standup, but will be
keeping it calm. I havent had any progress in the right
direction in the last few months, but I don't feel
like I am going backwards either. However, I have been reading up on
now they are saying to put you in braces and crutches for one to three
months and they have had some luck with people healing up that way.
My job won't let me do anything like that, but I am considering
An employment change that might make that feasible.
