I picked up a set of lightly used XP-DI seat pivot covers to replace my sun-faded and chalky orginals:

I also had the new HydroTurf seat cover installed:

I can't fully install it as I'm going to be removing my baffle to fix a DOA fuel gauge and I'm awaiting a brand-new-from-seadoo grab handle (again, original was too faded for my tastes).

    Re: 98 SeaDoo XPL Resto-Mod

I've been out of town for the past week, but this was waiting for me:

Solas Concorde 15/20, Klotz pump oil, and impeller tool. Motor and R&D M16 Dominator setup should be here tomorrow. My carbs are also due back from watercraft magic any day now. They were completely rebuilt with new Mikuni parts and rejetted for my mods, the altitude, and the Prok flame arrestors. Chris told me the carbs were recently rebuilt, however generic bits had been used and they were assembled incorrectly, resulting in massive air/fuel leaks, which undoubtedly lead to the final carnage.

white pipe, now a blue pipe

blade damage on the original impeller:

and it looks like I'll need a new wear ring, bearings still feel good though:

I also picked up these jetnetics adjuster knobs for the rave valves:

I'm going to repaint them with this:

to match the pipe and fuel lines

actually on second thought, I'm going to repaint the head nuts/bolts and exhaust support bracket to match the knobs with this shade:

Paint wouldn't hold up too well given how the knobs spin. Between all the blue, purple, and clear annodized parts, this motor should be quite pretty.

The paint turned out great, I took the liberty to paint a few other things as well:

I also slapped on an akrapovic decal for fun.
Still waiting on parts though. There were a few delays...........
