    Re: Puget Sound riding

I'm totally flexible since it's all new to me (with the exception of the small portion of South Sound we rode on last Saturday). I always have some food & water on board, and am rigging for extra fuel cans. I know we're meeting at Pt. D, and I've heard suggestions of 10:30 and before 12 but not sure we've completely set on the time. I'd prefer to lean toward 10:30 to minimize the potential for parking issues. High tides are around 6:00am (+11) and 8:30pm (+13), with minus 2.4 tide around 1:00pm.

Yes, its a very low tide, I suggest we have boats in water on Sunday by 11 at latest. If you want to meet at 10:30am, thats ok. Weather looks good!

Okay, I'm planning for 10:30. How many skis do we have coming from Tacoma? Anyone beside you & Paul?

    Re: Puget Sound riding

Am in for 10:30 meet up. Since no one has made the run from Tacoma to Poulsbo, I say let's do it. No time like the present. And, did I mention that there'll be plenty of traffic around the area due to Poulsbo's fireworks show sunday evening? I'll give the marina a call and let them know of the 5 skis coming in sunday for a quick nibble. There are also plenty of beaches along the way. (got to get you guys into new territory) Sam, let me know if you'll need me to carry a fuel can for you.

OK, 10:30, it was great today but wind picking up...may see some rain, better pack your galoshes.

Hey Nigel. I know the rain/sprinkles are going to be around in the morning. Wind should be negligible, though. I am still on the Poulsbo plan. Will bring a can, if needed, for anyone. Otherwise, I'll just leave it in the car. Got her all spiffed up (fluid film interior, wax exterior). Was trying to find a passenger, no such luck. See you all in the morning!!

Thanks for the pics, though me in neoprene isn't the nicest thing to look at! Too bad we didn't get any on-water pictures plowing through the chop on the east side of Bainbridge!

Managed to get the ski washed down and put away before it got pitch black, but only barely. Saltaway sure is effective!
