I am assuming that you are speaking about the oil to use ?

Is Evinrude XD 100 a synthetic oil ? Is it for an Evinrude two stroke engine ?

Does it have any description of what the oil is ?

Is that the only oil the place sells ? If not, what other oils does he have that are synthetic and not a synthetic "blend" oil.

Synthetic oils are 100% synthetic, whereas blends may only contain 10 % synthetic and 90 % dinosour oil ( petroliuem based ).

Clean the fuel system, replace the fuel lines, verify the accelerator pump is functioning, clean rave valves, replace spark plugs. Keep the fuel system clean, or you will be needing to rebuild the engine soon.

Take the spark plug boots off(unscrew) and cut the plug wires back 1/8-1/4 inch. Then screw the plug boots back onto the wires.

Also, if you just rebuilt the engine use the proper oil...API-TC Low Ash Full Synthetic. Brand is optional as long as it meets those requirements!

    Re: Evinrude XD 100

the website states that it's an ashless oil. not low ash.
