    Twist Throttle

I have a garage full of bikes. Street bikes and dirt bike. I even have a scooter. ALL OF THEM HAVE TWIST THROTTLES. I now have an STX-15F. The trigger throttle is LAME. I want to be able to grab a hand full with BOTH HANDS. Does anyone make conversion kits or does anyone know an easy way to adapt one? The cable ends are the biggest issue. By the way, does anyone know why water toys don't use them? ...I mean a REASONABLE explanation?

    Any help helps...

    Thanks,
    MacDaddyBD1

Not sure the real reason but can only guess it has something to do with falling off the ski and possibly twisting the throttle as you fall. Someone could get hurt. The only other thing I can think of would be using the twist grip in a salt water environment might not be the best.

    Sorry John,
Not following your line of reasoning. If you are able to hold on with full grip strength of both hands, you're less likely to be falling off anyway. Besides, that's what the tethered kill swicth is for. Why do you think they call it a "Dead Man Switch"? Someone could get hurt? Someone could get hurt just leaving the house... If you're afraid of that, stay home. Twist throttles are used on motocross bikes. I can't think of any more harsh "environment" than that. Dirt, mud, sand, rocks, ...oh wait... someone could get hurt...

Great, another scholar. You don't by chance have an engineering degree do you? Or go by "bob the builder"?
