Hey... POM. What say you? How did you like it? I have only ridden once this year so I haven't gotten a chance to try mine out yet.

I could feel the diff. Very happy with the part and the performance. Its not drastic, but it is noticable, especially after making a run with and another back to back without

I just put mine on and am gonna try it out this weekend. I talked to Bruce and he was even nice enough to test my coil at his shop cause I had no spark, coil was good CDI was bad. Ordered a 61t CDI and I was on the water.

Here is a pic of the stock cone and the Wetwolf cone side by side.

After riding all weekend with the Wetwolf pump cone and comparing it to the weekend before with the OEM pump cone. I think I made a good purchase, although not a huge overall difference, my ski is nearly 100% stock, it did feel like I had a bit more punch, I was getting some decent air of smaller wakes too. When I finish my other project ski I will put another Wetwolf cone on, they are priced well, fairly quick to instal, and make a difference in low end.

Re: Freestye Cones for Yamaha FX1

I have been riding on my cone for a few weeks now, well when my FX1 runs anyway, and I could not be happier with the performance. I noticed the pump is loaded harder on the bottom end and it pulls harder for sure. It almost made the ski seem slower due to the greater flow on the bottom it doesn't rev as quick but for sure pulls my 250+lbs out of the water much faster than it did with the stock cone. Seems like I lost a bit of top end but minimal.
Worth the $45 all day everyday! Thanks for the quality product Bruce.

I had a lot of fun with the new upgrade too, maybe too much I kept flooding my ski and getting water in the carb. My FX1 runs in half days when I get wild on it.

I have the same flooding issue. I need to find a stock F/A and a coupler shield.. Almost every sub ends with me floating with a dead ski and that isn't much fun but at least my pump cone still looks cool..
