Im sure you have a reason for it, but dont you feel that having the 650/750 engine makes the skis nose heavy enough? I hate mine even with a full tank of gas, cant imagine 8 more pounds of lead.

Cant wait to see the build!! What prop are you going to run in this ski?

    You crack me up...

Thanksgiving in AZ, home for a few days of work, heading back to AZ in a few...updates will be after that.

And now, since you're adding 3 JS's to your garage, I can tap my feet...

You know i'm always gonna press you to get it done! You're right though, when the tables turn i'll be laughing telling you to leave me alone and let me work!

I'll ship you the parts you need ASAP...probably monday or tuesday.

    Re: FOG's 550/750 Build

Update before the year runs out...

I haven't started truing the hull yet but a couple of awesome parts acquisitions to note.

First, my son (Black Kawi) bought a 550 gas tank off of one of us here on the boards and had it sent to me. THANKS to both of you! The tank is in great shape and will be used in the build.

Next, my good friend CrazyX2Guy provided a complete Coffman's 750 exhaust (with manifold) for me. The only stipulation is that I need to have it installed by Xmas 2011. I'll make that for sure.

I think it was BruceInSB that bubbled the side of his build for a large pipe...wish he lived here! But since he doesn't, I'll have to study his thread again and produce my own.

    Happy New Year to all.

It's a beautiful day out dad, i hope you're working on that hull finally!

The tank came from Mattyv, so thanks Matt for hooking it up! you're the man.

Chris, if you are looking to bubble the hull you can always bug Darren, I've seen some of his recent glass work and he's done some real nice work lately.

Can't wait to see my old hull finally get over 44 mph.
