    My Jetski trailer build

So I have several trailers, singles doubles , a triple and a hitch hauler, what I don't have is an enclosed trailer to keep my nicer skis out of the sun, I have a fairly large shop but don't want to take up space in it storing the skis and have to move them constantly. I want a permanent home for them and to have my skis ready to hook up and go at a moments notice. I had also been looking at teardrop campers for going to some of the freerides and was going to build one that I could haul the skis in and at night just set them out on beach stands and have a place to sleep. Then I needed to get rid of one of the conversion vans I had bought for parts also, with no title I couldn't get rid of the van ,No problem I just cut it to nothing and took it piece by piece to the scrap yard. I was left with a fiberglass top for a conversion van. I had a 5/8 utility trailer that the floor was rotted out on. The idea formed to put the two together and make an enclosed jet ski trailer- camping trailer, here is what I have so far. Yesterday I ripped the old floor up and replaced it with treated plywood, I will have to extend it past 5ft slightly to the size of the fiberglass top, today I will be cutting the front of the top and squaring it off, this should progress fairly quickly after that.

Cut the front off , trimmed the piece, ground down the glass and glassed it back up.I cut pvc pipes to hold it up so I wouldn't have to do anything exotic, sometimes simpler is better.

    Re: My Jetski trailer build

The trailer is 5 ft wide so I had to add to the width of the plywood,I did so by using biscuits and edge gluing the pieces together,I also cut the back panel apart so I could make it basically flat, which will greatly simplify the construction of this trailer. The rear section has a slight bow to it so I have to deal with that but its coming together nicely. All the joins in the plywood will be made using biscuits and glue, that will then be clamped and the ply will be predrilled for stainlees steel screws.
