Hey Caveman, did you ever end up using this head? I came across this thread and have the same head on my ski where it makes 210/215psi.

I bought this from caveman about a month ago....does it really make 210 psi? What kind of head gasket are you using?

Re: swirl dome head for a 650 kawasaki ,..how much compression ?

These readings were taken on 4/28/2010 that I found in my phone and are actually higher than 210. They may have been taken before the ski was actually run so they may not be as accurate as the consistent 210/215 I've been getting since running it. Not sure about the head gasket, is there an easy way to tell? This engine was built by a shop in upstate SC I was told when I bought it so unsure of all the specs other than the .5 overbore and new top and bottom. I put it into a ski I built and ran it for the first time. I'm halfway expecting it to blow up or melt every time I ride it.

Based on the guy who got 210/215 psi it is definitely a race fuel head. Unless you can find a thick head gasket. A rough estimate for psi change is 1 psi for every .001" added through the head gasket
