Is there a Loctite 518 substitute in the permatex line

What is the equal substitute for loctite 518
I cant find loctite brand in any of my local stores
    Where can I buy it?
I did find permatex brand but Im not sure wich one is equal to the 518

Also does the loctite 518 need to be put on the rubber gaskets around the top of the cylinder as shown in the shop manual?

you need to go to a place that sells to contractors for that. you can't find in an auto or home improvement store. I got a bottle at Tacoma Screw. you can use yamma or hondabond. it's made by threebond and is kinda the same thing, but once again it will not be in an auto parts store.
