    have you tried holding the "resistor momentary switch" for a few seconds before attempting to start? I wonder if the ECU has a refresh rate that requires it to read that lower ohm value for a few seconds before it see's that value as a "real value".

    When you say "it has been fine", do you mean the hot start issue went away after you repacked it with grease? Or did you also do the switch?

    I've never needed a 3rd hand to add throttle. Be careful using a rubber band because when it does start the ski may take off on you unexpected

    I used the known 100k that you had recommended.

    Haha. The rubber and worked like a charm, just as you predicted. My 7 year old daughter did a backflip off when it launched. Just a bit of throttle does the trick…
