96 XP 787 top end bogg

I am going crazy trying to figure this out. I have a 96 XP that has a good low and ok mid but it bogs bad on top end. Off idle the motor is strong and will pull hard for about 5 seconds then the RPMs will drop down to about 3/4 throttle and it will pulsate with me keeping it floored the hole time. The top end is just as fast as my 96 SP with the 580. It has a new top end and the RAVE valves were cleaned. I have played with the low and high speed adjustments and its not getting any better. I would appricate any help...

Water regulater? Rectifier? Do a search on these and see if the problems you're having are mentioned in the post you find.

Most likely plugged up fuel system. Rebuild carbs, fuel selector valve and replace all those grey Tempo fuel lines. If you continue running it lean you will soon be rebuilding engine.
