So you are saying just shave the vertical part or cut off the whole corner? Did you do this to your ski?

So in the pic, the one on the left is shaved and not the one on the right?

      I think they're both done...

I get it though... doesn't seem to hard to do.

They are both done. That is a pic of Kelly's ski when he was prep'n for paint.
My secondary ski is done, however my primary is not.

What exactly is the procedure? Does it need to be painted or sealed after cutting it?

nope no paint or sealing needed. Just take any sharp edges off with some sand paper so you don't scratch your self on it while falling off, haha.

No, one was missing from my ski when I bought it, so I removed the other one.

It doesn't look like I shaved enough, but there is not detectable lip when I run my fingers across it now.

                      Hey Prick,

Did you get this idea from Bob (at Shredmaster)? I was on the phone with him trying to order my Shredmaster plate and he told me about this mod. He said he saw that the water was forcing the rear end up when he let his buddy ride the FX-1 (back in 95' or 96').

Looks like you have a bit more to go, specifically at the corner transition. Also be certain to mod the corner molding if you reinstall them to match.
