Truck bed jet ski hauler designs needed!!

Ok I'm sick of hauling my double trailer around everytime I wanna go jet skiing by myself. I remember seeing out in California a jet ski bunk that fit into the back of a small pickup truck that held one standup jet ski with a winch and cable system that lowerd the ski into the water on a track lookin thing. Can someone give me some designs on how to build one of my own out of most likely wood? It will be for a 1997 ford ranger and I'm only using it in fresh water. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I had one custom built at a fabrication shop. It may not be what you are looking for but I haul my stand up and one sit down. Also it is steel tube.

Being that you already have a hitch hauler, wouldn't it make sense to just put a hitch on your truck?


It would serve other purposes as well.

I used it on the back of my excursion for a while. I don't like using my excursion to go jet skiing. The interior is too nice and it's getting messed up from water. So I wanted to put a ski in the bed of my ranger and use my ranger to launch my ski.

I was talking about putting a hitch on the Ranger and just utilizing the equipment you've already got.
