    Re: Ride plates

The one with the fins is the "Ocean" model it may slow you down the tiniest bit
but your cornering with be better.

The one without the fins is legal foe APBA / IJSBA racing.

    Re: Ride plates

I have been using the Ocean Pro "Ocean" plate on my JS skis for years and they improve the handling like no other plate I have used.. I bought new plates from Ken for my last two JS builds and the quality is top notch.

    Re: Ride plates

    Ii5 boy:
installed the Ocean Pro plate with fins a few months ago on our 1991 550sx. I noticed an improvement in handling at slow to medium speed (where I do most my riding). My two sons (early 20's) say they noticed a big difference and like the plate a lot more than the stock one. The finned plate improved turning (for me - only been riding two years) and worth every penny. I don't have pictures but the fins are about 1 1/2 inchs tall and angled outward a little and run about half the lengh of the plate.

    Re: Ride plates

hey I also have 2 ocean pro ride plates: one has no fins and a "v" cut on it, and the other looks rare it has no fins but crazy looking channels and says "trestles" on the top of it...
I'm having a hard time deciding which to use, but the "trestles" plate looks better to me so I wanted to ask for any input that could help me decide...
    Thanks!
