yeah, we were pretty cold too when we went April 3. My hands have never been that cold.

I can't wait until it is really HOT and I can ride without a wetsuit!!!

Yes indeed Antioch was cold.....my finger kept getting numb that day....LOL!
That has never happen to me when riding the Oakland estuary.
I believe it had something to do with the wind that day.
Cold wind hitting you will definitely make it feel colder...it's called the wind chill factor.

There seems to be so many crews in NorCal. San Jose, Sacramento, The Delta, DJSA, The Ski Clinic bunch, the central valley bunch, the Pismo bunch . . .

And what do we have to do before arriving? Does the entire ski have to be 100% dry?

yes, make sure it is dry. no standing water or sand. when i need an inspection i stuff rags all in the bilge to take care of that water hiding under the waterbox and such.

    Anthony,
I have heard about that inspection. If they find one drop of water, or if after starting the engine water comes out, they will send you packing back home. For real. So I assume if we ride every weekend then make sure you start the ski everyday and push left over water out of the exhaust. After a couple of days it should be pretty dry in there, and also dry the entire bilge with rags like Chriselmore_1 said

    OK, sorry for the threadjack!
