    Re: The Question Game

My 2004 781BB Superjet with all the goodies. Not a fan of the 2008 and newer SJ hills. And I’ve ridden some high dollar AM backflip hulls and they are only good for two things: backflips and backaches. Next?

    Re: The Question Game

tough call, depends on where i'm riding,

for puttering around, jumping wakes, general jackazzery, My XP hands down was the most fun.

For river speed runs through the twisties (which we have a LOT of) my gp1300R was awesome because you could power through turns with great control, and still keep up, or pass the big 4 strokes I was out with. downside, sucked gas like a cheap hooker, I was always planning rides around my fuel tank.

For distance runs way up river, my Honda R12X turbo was amazing, I think I got over 9mpg iirc so when everyone had to stop to top off I was still at 2/3 tank, it handled very very well, cornered hard, but top speed was in the low 60's so the big stage 1 skis were blowing by me.

For Gulf Riding and distance runs, my rxpx was great, but despite dumping a few hondo into handling mods it couldn't corner for chit.

If I HAD to pick one that was the most fun, I have no choice but to choose the XP because you just couldn't ride it without smiling, it wasn't my first ski, but it is the ski where I really learned how to ride, everything else was easy after that except when I borrowed an HX or rode a blaster, both which held true to the saying that it was like riding a pissed off piece of plywood.

Going to a high school football game tonight because a friend is the band director so we're going to see the bands perform, the man has skills and they put on quite a performance.

Marching bands.. .thumbs up or down?

    Re: The Question Game

On the entire forum, or just this thread? I have probably owned the least. I didn't own a ski until I was 42 years old. I've only owned 7 total, and still have 4 of those: RNSJ SNSJ FX1 and a B1.

    Re: The Question Game

Not I, Only owned 4, 2 gp1200 an XP and an RX. Haven't owned a ski in over 10 years. Boats work much better with the family.

    Re: The Question Game

Iím not sure how to count them, but not many. I have 3 skis, a 1992 VXR (owned since 99), a 2007 RXP, and this year I added a 2017 Superjet.

I bought a lot of 3 skis, 92 VXR, old Polaris and a 650 SX to get the SX. Immediately sold the Polaris as scrap and the running VXR. Spent a few weeks working on the 650 until deciding it wasnít worth the trouble and sold it in need of a lot of work.

Is the appropriate count 3 or 6 or somewhere in between? Bonus question, how many have you owned?

    Re: The Question Game

I believe your correct with that range...

currently own 4 skis in hopes to own 5 of them. ‘96 GSX for ocean riding, handling and a large 15 gallon fuel tank, ‘98 SPX(XP) for the light weight handling and race boat performance,
‘96 GTi 3-seater for family fun and cruising, great on gas and has the bulletproof 717cc engine, ‘90 Kawasaki 550SX stand up for when I want to mix it up. And finally(and hopefully) a 2021 Yamaha SuperJet to round out my fleet. I like the variety of skis I have. Something for almost everyone. Except a Blaster or HX. I have ridden a Super Stock HX a while back and man that thing was insane! But heck of fun! The acceleration was incredible! Very fun. I have never owned a boat. Although I have come very close to buying one several times. But chickened out.

Do you have a chandelier in your house?

Probably 80-100 times faster on the keyboard. Then again, I have a flip phone so I do 10 key texting.

Have you heard that Sean Connery passed?
