    superjet 62t cylinder question?

i am installing a 62t cylinder on my superjet motor. the bolts are 10mm on the 62t and on the 61x they are 8mm. i have put 62t cylinders on superjets before and drilled out the factory pipe exhaust manifold to let the 10mm bolts pass through but the 2 upper center bolts that are behind the exhaust manifold are a real pain getting them in when they are 10mm. i am thinking about puttin on the manifold without those 2 bolts. i am wondering if anyone has done this before and if it worker or not. i know i can use stainless timeserts but i want to get the ski together for the daytona freeride and they are expensive.

I wouldn't count on the gasket holding up in those spots without bolts.

you can put time serts in the cyl and use the stock bolts or use10mm bolts with a smaller head.

You probably missed the last sentence in the original post.

Btw, the timecerts themselves are not expensive. The tool kit is, but you don't need any tools to put them into the cylinder.

    Yes!
I wanted to kick myself when I found out, because I ordered the whole kit and spent over $100 on it.
Then I find out that they thread right in. D'OH!
