    I have done this to my B1 Twin Carb 61X, MSD Total Loss Ignition and Pro-Tec Super Stock Pipe.
    You should see a difference in the bottom end and mid range throttle response, but no real change at the top end.
    If you are losing power, there could be one of two issues...
    1 - The wetbox could be clagged
    2 - The wetbox could have a broken or colapsed baffle

    Awesome thread, so many years later. Read it end to end. Just about to drop a raider 1100 motor and water box in to a blaster.

    To ask a couple of questions if I may. I know that this is an old thread but a good one.

    1. To place the waterbox on the right side of the hull you have to drill a hole in the right side bulkhead. What size hole are you drilling? What are you using for anti chaffing through the bulkhead?

    2. What is the outer diameter on the Raider waterbox inlet and outlet? I am guessing it is the same as stock Blaster hose that runs from the waterbox back?

    3. Fire extinguishers. I see some saying they kept them and some saying they couldn't. What's the bottom line. I wanna keep mine so I don't get a ticket. Is it all about placement for where the crossover pipe ends up?

    I just make a giant hole in the bulkhead so there is plenty of room for the waterbox to sit in the best spot. You don't really need to worry about chaffing if the hole is big enough. The inlet and outlet are the same sizes as the blaster in and out, its from a 701 motor so its all the same. The problem with the fire extinguisher is that if you try to run the crossover underneath the fire extinguisher tube, it sits a little too low which can allow water to get into your motor when it isn't running. Play with it though, maybe you can get it to work if you relocate your battery and remove the battery box.
