***Fastest 'current' 550 in the world***

Who has the fastest 550 in the world currently?

Post your claims and pics here, and share the stories of how you squeezed out every last 0.1 of a mph.

Only rule is that it has to be pre 91' tech, so 'NO' - Mr.Ski your dual 46mm carb boat wont count.

Whatever this goes in I would think, he was GPS'd at 73.
Can't believe it started at only $250 - makes me wish I was a Kawi guy!!

Don't understand why my B1 only goes 40-45 mph!

I think this guy ^^^ was GPS'ing while on the trailer behind his 5.0 Mustang...

Exactly he is DREAMIN ON 73mph. That looks like just a standard PJS 550 reed cylinder

Re: ***Fastest 'current' 550 in the world***

The 550 with a 750 in it I picked up last year moved well. I don't think I would want to go much over 50 on that hull.
750 went in one of my x2s so I never hosed the 550
