    Carb removal on 587

Newbie at jet skis. Need to rebuild single carb (Mikuni 38 mm) on a 587. Getting in there not too bad but Clymer's shop manual not very good at:

    1. How do you remove the bottom part (guess it goes to the oil pump) of the throttle cable? Is it a circlip (man that will be hard to get back on!)

    2. How do you remove the choke cable?

    3. Is it necessary to remove the throttle lever assy. There's a 12 mm nut that allows removal of the outer throttle cam, but the rest won't budge.

    Thanks guys
