Looking to buy a used(older) ski

I am fixin to buy another ski (changing from atv to jet ski coz I'm only allowed one hobby at a time). The last ski I had was a 98 gp 1200 and I really liked it. I have been lookin at the zxi 1100 , another gp or an ultra 150. Give me some opinions....its gonna be a late 90's or early 2000's. Thanks for all your help.

STXs are real stable. 1100s top out around55-57ish, 900s 49-52. 1100s hole shot FAST...even with riders. 900s hole shot almost as good but suk with riders on your back. Both love to suk fuel. This hull tends to ride atop the water so the ride can get rough & wet in chop. 97-99 1100STXs are the same hull as 99-2000 900STXs. In 2000, 1100s got a upperhull/hood/ seat revamp...also went to the direct injection. Model years were 2000-2002 for the 1100STXDI. In 2003 the STX 12F (4-stroke) replaced the 1100 entirely. In 2001 the 900STXs adopted the DI upgraded hull. These stayed the same till ? late 2000s. Now a limited years run of older model 1999-2000 900STXs continued production for the 2001-2002 years being rebadged the 900STS. These were sold along side of the 900STX & the 1100 STX DI.

Are these fun to ride...yes they are, you can get the front ends to submarine with a huge wave of water wash over you. Also since they tend to ride high...they can spin out in a hard turn. They are real stable thou & are hard to turn over (less your really trying) If you feel it gong over just let go crash & burn in the drink...the ski will right itself. I'd like the better MPGs of a 4-stroke but they are way heavier & the ride reflects that.
