Pull the air breather plastic assembly off and run til it quits. Open gas cap and
that will relieve any pressure. Pull off the fuel return line and put it in an emty
bottle and crank engine. Fuel should route. POST result.

Re: 94 SPI starts but wont stay running

My bad. Pull the carburetor end of the return line from where it attaches to your carb
This is a fuel route test. A point to begin and back-track to the problem, be it the
carbs gummed up, fuel inlet clogged at inlet nipple, selection valve clog, lines will
clog at connect points. You can put a short piece of hose on the carb return nipple
and into a catch bottle if your fuel does route. Post 2 alerts you that the fuel system
is pressureized. NO relief of pressure by removing the gas cap means the check
valve failed. NO route means you need to continue back-tracking and remove the
fuel line from the inlet supply side of the carb, place that line in your bottle to catch
fuel if it comes out. You then apply air pressure into the return line to check if you
have routing in the line system. IF fuel routes into the bottle, that indicates the
problem is carburetor or a clog in the pulse line from engine block, or both. AFTER
you find your problem, fix it or replace it. Hope this helps

Does it have BR8ES or BR7ES sparkplugs in it ? Because if it does not have BR type sparkplugs in it, it will not continue to run after you start it.

    Check the easy stuff first.
