if you can post the details that would be great.

    Re: VTS Bypass Fix

I'm looking at the schematics for this fix and I don't see a ground anywhere in there. I have a 94 XP where the trim motor is located under the hood not in the rear. I'm wondering if this fix is going to work on my unit. My motor works great, the cable is OK, but while the vts module I have clicks, there is not enough juice getting through to move the motor. If anyone out there can offer up some suggestions, that would be awesome.

    Re: VTS Bypass Fix

Total newb here so please bare with me...after reading up I just want to be clear. The vts worked for about an hour on the water then quit. After going home and changing the rubber boot and letting the motor etc dry out I put it all back together and it appeared to work. Two subsequent times it would work for the first minute then quit again. Now it's not working at all and it shows 12v low when cranking even after installing new battery. I did check all fuses up front and they were all good...I have a 97 gsx and want to make sure this fix is for my ski? also the list that Koerbs? posted is showing the wires that I am supposed to connect correct? dont cut the brown as that is for the gauge? does this relay fit inside of the vts motor housing after being connected? Thanks for the help, Chris.

Your Gauge may not work after the fix...There will only be 2 wires that are hooked to your switch....Up...and Down.I put all my fix in a small tupperware dish and then filled with Silicone seal.It sat perfect on the top of VTS housing and was mounted..Works great.Sometimes if you don't keep track it may over extend before relay shuts down.Easy enough to put back on track.I set mine center before launch then tick which way i prefer.Have not made my gauge work as of yet as i keep my eyes on the water instead of the gauge. There is a fix for that as well.

    Re: VTS Bypass Fix

You will also have same wires from black box to VTS unit....leave them as they have a fuse ....you can see the wire codes in the manual that is a free download from Seadoo.com. Mine is 96 XP 800.Black box meaning in the rear of the hull.
