    warmest lakes in western wa?

Just wondeirng what you all think? When it gets to be summer.... I usually go to Lake washington, but thats pretty deep and massive so its colder...sammamish is pretty good but everytime i've gone there I end up waiting for 30-45 minutes to launch. Any Smaller lakes you reccomend? I'm gonna try Lake Stevens this summer
    where else do you ride?

Lk Stevens - warm, lots of patrols, choppy from all the boats, and you may also have to wait there.
Lk Sammamish - warm, fewer patrols, early morning is best, or late afternoon.
Columbia rvr (vantage) - cold, usually windy at bridge, upstream not so much.

Washington has the most boats per capita of any state in the US. Most waterways have large numbers of boats because of that. The best times to launch are early in the morning before 10, or later in the afternoon after 4. The waits are usually gone because most need to get home and cook dinner after being on the water all day.

Lake Tapps is pretty good in the am or pm, The afternoons get pretty choppy, But that's a good time to get your party on, so it works out. I'll have the boat and the ski's in the lake for summer here soon so If anyone to get some breakfast rides in or wakeboard/ski

Just had to chime in....agree with Lake Washington, Lake Stevens, and Lake Tapps, but, my crown jewel...in my opinion is Lake Goodwin!
Out last Friday....76' degrees and the water was 62' degrees per my rig. Drop in at Weinberg State Park....two ramps...ride down to North end of lake....shallow and warmest....you can get off your ride...in sandy bottom of 1-3 feet of water...kick back with some adult beverages...cigar, etc... and enjoy the water and sun. Great place and never short of people racing down the middle of the lake....police boat moored at a house in the bay, but, hardly ever out there....easy to check in on them, too.

Goodwin is good. I actually demo'd my first ski there back in '92. What a memory...... I don't agree with the remark about the adult beverages. One surefire way to make our sport more unsafe. Never mind the illegality of it.
