what are you riding this year again? Werent you selling you sq js to lakeboy? do you still have the roundy?
u been out yet?
I'll be riding my 2000 SJ 760.
When I first put it up for sale, Lakeboy wanted to take my 92 SJ up to the Minot area, but it looks like he has bigger and more expensive plans than I can deliver! I have a few guys in the area who are interested in it, but I haven't had the chance to show it yet.
So right now I have the SN, the RN, and a 97 Sea Doo GSI.
Haven't been out yet. I've been busy going back and fourth between Milwaukee and Chicago for work, so I haven't had the chance. Soon, or I quit.
hey guys, the anual meeting is this saturday and thats when ima make the statement bout the comps, i know for sure 3 of the 5 board members are game for it
There are a ton of hoops that you need to go through to hold a private gathering on public property. It is illegal to section off a part of a public waterway. It is illegal to place private bouys in a public waterway. To have a legal competition of any type the group would have to have insurance, medical services, etc. Insurance for "time trial" racing is about the only thing you can get as a "Non Proffit" group in ND as it is illegal to race as you would be closer than legal limits at speed.
I deal with it in the winter with our snowmobile club and it is a BIG deal!
I think about the only type of thing we could do is a gathering like the TCJP sortie. Maybe a "round-of-applause" type of freestyle comp and maybe try to sneak in a milk jug bouy or 2 for a time trial. I could get access to the radar for some top speed comps or something, but I wouldnt get your hopes up for races and competitions like you see in videos.
