I am lucky to have a professional painter in the family with my brother. We both prepped it, he sprayed it.

Looks good man. Watch out for the green turf. Fades like a mofo, FAST. Try to keep it indoors as much as you can and you might get a little longer out of it than I did. I've made the mistake of putting it on two ski's in a row, never again. Looks great at first though!

    Re: Another X2 rescue

Yea I had heard it faded quick in the sun. My ski is always going to be in the garage when its not in the water so I may get a lil longer out of the color. I imagine after a few seasons Ill be ready to tear it apart and rebuilt it, unless I totally thrash it this season.

The shopping cart has worked out really well so far. It was incredibly easy to make if you have a die grinder and a welder. I am going to take some pics of it and my loading system next time I get the ski out. I built one of those hitch mount cargo carriers up with some bunks and carpet. Since most of the time I load and unload by myself and dont have room for a trailer I just wheel the car up to the stand and pull it right onto the carrier, with some silicone spray its as smooth as butter.
