With 42cc domes, novis and factory pipes would the octane need to be raised? No porting and no spacers.

Re: Octane mixing?
Running Sunoco 260? You could lower it.
Can't read between the lines or read your mind
from so far away.......y...................y.................. ...ay
The mixing issue is, do you know what you want? from what
you are useing? Going up or going down? Ethanol Eliminator?
Are you loking for a blue mixture or orange/white?
Methane or toluelene? Price you want to pay per PPM?

Re: Octane mixing?
If you know where you want to be octane wize, invest in a portable
handheld meter, and you will know what you have, then raise by
the hit and miss method with your booster, be it from napa, methane
or (I use) Toluene. Thats how you get it, too much and BOOM!! Race
fuels can be bought outright locally.

No! The problem with raising compression with pipes is that the pipes where intended (91 octane) to run around 125 PSI so anything higher will cause detonation without higher octane. Thanks, Steve
